Yo, funke - you have to update your 8320's firmware. Use your BB desktop suite for that. Back up all your contacts before, just in case. After that, you *should* see App World.

We don't have a custom CREDO version, but you might like Earthcomber on your BB. Anything with the trackball will run it. Basically Earthcomber finds all of whatever you put on your list to scout around for. (We have Biodiesel and E85 stations, for instance, plus wildlife areas, etc. along with the usual coffee and free WiFi spots). I know for sure that works on the 8320.

Good luck....

It looks like the App world is supported on handsets that have OS v4.2 and higher.
I'm not familiar with the specifics of the 8320 but check the RIM App World FAQ to see if they have any more information. http://na.blackberry.com/eng/developers/appworld/faq.jsp

Nicole B: I think our resident expert said it's always BlackBerry. So the plural is BlackBerry smartphones. Clunky and corporate, but there you go. Here's a link to where this is used: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/purchase/

Thanks for the list Haruko, I also use the same set of applications on my BlackBerry and they're all terrific! Just incase some of your readers don't use a BlackBerry it's good to know that these services (except the BlackBerry World store) have versions available for most data capable phones. I find the Opera Mini Browser particularly helpful on standard (non PDA) data phones.

So, what I really want to know is: what is the plural of "BlackBerry"?? Is it BlackBerrys or BlackBerries? I'd go with the former, since it's a proper noun... Anyone at CREDO have the inside scoop on this?
